  • A Conference First - Opening Session presented by an IBM i Executive!
    VTMUG is excited to announce that Alison Butterill – IBM i Offering Manager – will be presenting the opening session at this year's conference. Alison's session is entitled “IBM i In the Age of Digital Transformation” and will show how the IBM i is uniquely positioned to support modern environments and technologies.

    Alison has worked in the midrange marketplace (System 34, System 36, System 38, AS/400, all the way to the IBM i) for more than 30 years. She has held a wide variety of positions at IBM, primarily with midrange servers and software.

  • Half Day Conference Registrations
    To accommodate IT execs that may want to come hear Alison Butterill's opening session, or those IBM i professionals that can't afford to take the whole day for the conference, VTMUG is now offering Half Day conference registrations.   

    You can register for the morning half day or afternoon half day of the conference and each includes lunch. The morning half day includes the continental breakfast and the afternoon half day includes the post conference social.

  • 2017 Conference Location - DoubleTree Burlington
    The DoubleTree continues to receive very high marks from conference attendees, so VTMUG is pleased to announce that for the fourth consecutive year our annual Technical Conference will be held at the DoubleTree Burlington. The Doubltree is located at I-89 Exit 14 and Williston Rd in South Burlington, and provides VTMUG the opportunity to host the conference in first class, professional meeting facilities on the same floor in a centrally located area. The conference, vendor exposition, and meals and breaks will be held in the Garden Ballroom and Carriage Rooms.     You are invited to meet and network with the conference staff, speakers, and your peers over continental breakfast between 8:00-8:30 am. The breakfast is included with your registration fee and includes:

    VTMUG will be giving away a free registration ($550 value) to the 2018 NEUGC, April 23rd, 24th, and 25th. The registration fee will include the seminar or workshop on Monday April 23rd and the conference on Tuesday and Wednesday April 24th and 25th.

Continental Breakfast, check-in, and networking from 8:00-8:30 am. We will be holding our annual membership and election of officers at 8:30 am at the beginning of the Opening Session. The conference ends at 4:00 pm, and the Post Conference Social begins at 4:00 pm and will end when it's over - approximately 6:00 pm

This fee covers attendance at the conference – full or half day with your choice of nine sessions; continental breakfast (full day or morning half day), lunch buffet, and break snacks and beverages; and soft copy session handouts downloadable from the conference web site.

Overnight Accomodations: The DoubleTree Burlington has a limited number of rooms reserved for VTMUG conference attendees at the special rate of $139 per night plus tax. To receive this special rate please call the DoubleTree at 802-658-0250 and ask to receive the VTMUG rate of $139.

Please note that this rate is only available Tues thru Thurs nights - Sept 19th thru 21nd - and if the DoubleTree is close to being fully booked for these nights, they reserve the right to withdraw the rate. So please reserve your room early to receive this special rate.

Registration: Conference registration payment can be made via check or PayPal. You must first fill out a short registration form for VTMUG, and you will be then directed to the Registration Payment Options page where you will find check payment information or a link to PayPal's secure payment site.

Cancellations: Cancellation with refund will be accepted up to Mon, Sep 11, 2017 (10 days before the conference date). A cancellation fee of $15 will be charged. No refunds after Mon, Sep 11, 2017.
